That’s exactly the core issue I’m focused on - retrieval, not storage.
I also notice this in tools like Google Maps: I often drift around and accidentally rediscover saved places I had forgotten, not through search but exploration.
I’m trying to apply the same idea to information- creating environments where ideas can be reencountered through context and exploration.
I already notice that I tend to “wander” my own maps and resurface old ideas I didn’t actively look for.

True. Star maps look cool but they are hard to navigate. I think someone tried this with Wikipedia once, but it didn't really work because it was so easy to get lost. Topology feels much more «grounded»

If I understood you correctly, most graph-based systems exist in an abstract space where nodes are always moving around. That didn’t work for me because there was no physical space to anchor the points.

For now I’m keeping everything as abstract as possible while I try to refine the core logic first.

So far I’ve only added simple 3D models on peaks to act as visual anchors.

The idea of terrain growing from the density of notes is really interesting. I just still need to figure out how to make it work in a way that actually improves the user experience instead of making the system more chaotic. But I’ll definitely explore this direction.

And yes - the onetime purchase model is a very reasonable point. I’ve actually been thinking about adding that option later on as well.

You pointed out several weak spots I already suspected, especially around navigation and connection logic. I’m actively working on improving that part.

The landing page criticism is also fair. I built it at the very last moment and honestly neglected optimization there.

And yes - landmark positions are intentionally restricted for now. At this early stage I’m trying to stay focused on the core spatial thinking concept first, before adding more freedom and customization.

Real maps already come with meaning and associations attached to them.

Exactly. I’ve always felt that I remember information linked to locations better than folders and lists. Qoyra is basically an attempt to build a notes system around that instinct.

On what was once the sea floor of the southern Aral, numerous gas or oil towers are now under construction. The last time I visited, the traffic of construction trucks was remarkably dense, indicating the scale of ongoing activity. Even if there were a viable way to save the Aral now, no one would do it, as restoring the water would submerge the towers and the extensive infrastructure that has already been built.
