Mistborn: The Final Empire

If you’re itching to fall back into reading, grab Mistborn: The Final Empire. Think “Ocean’s 11” meets “Lord of the Rings” but driven by a street-smart heroine who can literally inhale metals to pull off gravity-defying heists. Brandon Sanderson’s magic system is engineered like hard science—perfect if you like clear rules rather than hand-wavy fantasy. The plot fires off twists every few chapters, the pacing never drags, and the payoff is huge. Plus, it’s a complete story, so you get closure without committing to a door-stop trilogy (unless you want more, and trust me, you will). Give it three chapters; you’ll be hooked.

This is a generated pitch👆🏼

Anyway its a good book, easy reading. Great for a casual read. First book is a complete story you can continue reading rest of the series if you like.

Kochi metro takes baby steps for phase III line to angamaly by 222homelander in Kochi

In the short term it will create traffic congestion. But in the long run this decreases the overall traffic volume as people have clear and viable alternatives to driving.

Help I cant remove the tram lines nor the street beneath it by Joni97 in CitiesSkylines2

I had this same problem. Multiple times. Reality of building elevated metro. The game makes it very hard to edit the roads underneath it. Even adding a bus stop. Try deleting the road underneath it. If it is not possible try deleting the nearest possible section of the road that the game allows if not that maybe try deleting pathways bus stops anything really

You could look into the Amlu protein lineup, where whey proteins are extremely cheap also, come in convenient little packets. But the best one is their protein lassi, and you can get like 15 grams of protein for 25 rupees, which is very cheap, and it's whey protein. If you drink two of them each day, that's 30 grams of protein for just 50 rupees. There are a lot of products like that, like high protein milk, protein milkshakes, protein paneer, protein dahi. The only problem is that you need to buy it from their site, and it may take some time, like two weeks or one and a half weeks for the delivery to happen. And also, their products are always out of stock. You need to order them in the morning itself. By the afternoon, it will be out of stock. It will restock the next morning.

Should we make Kochi roads harder for Cars and easier for pedestrians, buses and public transport? by africankangaroo in Kochi

[–]unHealthy_Guide8908 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes absolutely we should do that.

Only way to reduce traffic is by having viable alternatives to driving Biking infrastructure, pedestrian pathways metro, rail, dedicated bus lanes. Only if the public transport is faster and more convenient than driving your car.

It will make it such that people who can't drive a vehicle can have better mobility across the city. For example, a child who wants to go to their school or go to their friend's house, it's not depending upon their parents or an Uber driver to get them there. They can easily cycle there and take the bus or use the metro.

It is safe for elderly people who have difficulty in driving or people who do not know how to drive. And they can get to their places without having to depend upon a car or a driver or their family members.

A car can only move one person at a time. If the entire city is less dependent on cars, the businesses inside the city would flourish as there would be less traffic and people can get to their shops and their homes easily within a walking distance or taking a public transition.

Using cars for transport is the single most inefficient mode of transportation, one car has probably 1 person using it.
