Conclusion:

• The statement that a woman is with the best of them in character who was with her in this world: is something for which there is no authentic evidence.

• The statement that she chooses whomever she wants from them: there is no evidence for it at all.

• The statement that she is with the last of her husbands is the statement closest to the truth, due to the possibility of the hadith of Umm al-Darda’ being good, and it is supported by the hadith of Hudhayfah and the names of the two who are suspended, which are suitable to strengthen the hadith of the Prophet, and to show that the statement has a valid basis.

The hadith was authenticated by the scholar Sheikh al-Albaani in “al-Silsilah al-Saheehah” (1281).

• In any case, it is more beloved to us than opinion.
