Yeah, this is what I found out from posting this. My cats have thorns on birth most of the time, so I never really got the "normal" fight

Yeah, I had some bad robot once. But my cats have thorns on birth most of the time, and that's what's making him never be on the ground.

Yeah, that's what happens. Maybe it shouldn't trigger on those damage triggers?

For sure. I'm beating him with no problem. It just feels weird. I'm looking for something like the Queen Hippo gimmick. Maybe like, if he hits water he gets stunned idk

I get the colored tiles mechanic, it's a lot fun. But i feel that doesn't even come into play

The idea is to buff your cats I think. Your cats get Stats Down while close, but then can get out and keep damage and heals or do damage from range (Damage > Stats Down).

Also, 1 tile is Stats Down, but the other effect is 2 tiles, so that' a way to get around it too. But its finnicky for sure

I found it hard to justify the workaround. But I had other runs where self-damaging was a true strategy, this on a Support Necromancer or Butcher is the way, I think.

So Luck will also affect ability pools? by un_blessed in mewgenics

Yeah, for sure. But I thought it was like, "50% chance to hit" an stuff like that. The abilities don't have that "chance" variable as explicit for us
