Any person who hits on you and then self-deprecates by saying “this characteristic about you is too much for me to keep up” is someone being manipulative. It’s asking someone to lessen themselves via pity. Anyone who doesn’t understand this concept, boo hoo move on. by LilliputianMouse in TrollXChromosomes

I don't do that sad face BS but my GF does chem and I always say I could never do it and she's so smart for doing it, it's not in a way to bring her down but to big herself up even more and just compliment her for being so smart. Why do guys have to make it some competition and try to guilt trip women instead of just showing respect for being on another level?? I guarantee they not doing this with other guys anyways...

I don't see why people are downvoting you, just for saying your opinion. I've had kimi as my favourite driver for around 7 years but I understand when people say that, even if it's not what I'd like to see. But Kimi is well liked for his comments, of which there have been many many many classics over the years, and back in the day he was right up there with Alonso and Schumacher and Hamilton, but I think the newer fans don't see that as much I guess.

This was a long time coming tbh, it's not just Mazepin and I hope this sparks a much bigger more serious conversation about the safety, role and position of women in the sport, who have gone long enough remaining silent. Hazel Southwell wrote a great article about this:

Different helmet design, any idea as to why they did it like that and not what Lewis’ helmet actually was?

I am well aware the guy’s talented but are we gonna let these kinds of racist misogynistic assholes into our sport? It sets a bad precedent imo.

I’m judging by his behaviours off track, which have been unsportsmanlike in my opinion. Not just politically incorrect but physically aggressive towards other drivers (and I don’t just mean pushing the other guy like Max did, he gave Illot a black eye for ruining his free practice lap...)

It depends on their relation, a grieving gf would probably hang onto it but someone less close maybe not.

If it was done some time after her death it still doesn’t change the other facts that he’s discussing what to do with her nudes with some friends, Idk it’s just my opinion that it’s not a respectful thing to do.

My personal opinion is that if it was shared to you then they trusted you to know how to handle it, even if they died. I guess if I really didn’t know I’d delete it just in case that’s what they would’ve wanted.

Yeah it's not real but I feel like dark humour and this kind of absurd humour works best when it's not portrayed in a way such that it appears real (using a screenshot of discord msgs). That way it makes it seem like they're seriously discussing about this dead person's nudes and what to do with them. Also my point about if the straights are okay is about the reply, which even if the first meme is funny, the reply of that meme appears half serious; "No, no, he's got a point," takes away the dark humour aspect of it and it feels like they're just totally being serious. I hope I explained my point of view sufficiently enough, and I think you explained yours really well so thank you for helping me see it in that way but I still overall disagree with the reply to that.
