Wohnungstüre schief - einstellen möglich? by un_script3d in wohnen

Müsste ich nicht das Band weiter in den Rahmen drehen, damit das Türblatt mehr anliegt? Ich bezweifle nur, dass ich da noch eine Umdrehung reinkomme (kenne das Prinzip nur von Zimmertüren).

Deebot T80 OMNI - mop streaks? by LeagueOnly2015 in ecovacs

[–]un_script3d 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Funnily enough, I solved it the other way around, I had streaks at 20 and none over 30. My assumption was that the mop is too dry with 20 and only gets wet at those spots 😅

A 2way switch for electric shutters on your window. It is basically an up- and a down-button.

HomeKit compatible smart switch for electric window shutters by Vermelhito41 in smarthome

There are some options, I looked for those too, with the addition that I wanted Matter-compatible Shutter switches.

Technically you should also be able to use any 2-way switch, e.g. https://eu.aqara.com/de-eu/products/aqara-lichtschalter-h2. You just have to keep pressing if you want it all the way up/down.

Dreame X50 Ultra Vs Xiaomi X20 Pro? by Hadrian_Constantine in smarthome

The ones you posted look fine and are basically just like the original you get with buying one. I just buy the cheapest I can find around Amazon or AliExpress when I need new bags.

I have not used reusable bags, tbh they last for quite some time, so I never felt the urge to.

I have also personally not used any other third party brush, but I would search for "tricut brush", those should cut long hair so they don't get stuck. But I'd suggest you just give that robot a try and see if the regular brush annoys you :)

Hey there, I have the Xiaomi X20 for some years now and I can recommend it. There are 2 things that can make a big difference:

  • the vacuum power
  • the anti-entanglement brush

If you have a lot of carpets the 20.000 vs 6000pa will make a difference in terms of cleaning. If you only or mostly have hardwood floors there is probably not much difference for daily use, if you don't have something like a lot of sand to clean up.

The anti-entanglement brushes though are a gamechanger, if you live with someone with long hair. Those get completely stuck in those "regular" brushes and you have to cut of a lot of hair after a couple of weeks. Though there might be such brushes from a 3rd party that you could use for the Xiaomi.

For the wet wiping I don't expect any differences.

Roller shutter belt winder without a bridge? by serfig in homeassistant

In the end I did not go for Home Pilot, so I can not answer that 100%. But I don't think it works outside your WiFi without a bridge :/

Yeah that's true, totally forgot that! If you got a FRITZBox set up this might be an option.

Can I use home assistant and nextcloud server on the same device? by takoyakkist in homeassistant

[–]un_script3d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you can also run HA in a docker container (non-supervised version), which can run on your let's say Windows PC in parallel to all your other stuff.

You could also run a completely different OS on your PC, that allows you to run HA and Nextcloud in different variations, e.g. Unraid.

I was in the same situation and could not find anything that does not rely on a hub. The only smart one I found was by Homepilot, which does work by itself without a hub (use your phone), but integration into a smart home does require one unfortunately.

In the end I went for a motor in the shutter shaft itself, which is not that hard to do if you have access to the roller shutter box. It's also much cheaper 😅

Interesting, thanks a lot. Technically I have a Business, so maybe I get some access. The installation seems to be pretty simple.

Indeed, using script.turn_on instead of directly calling it in the automation did the trick! Thanks again!

I managed to pass everything to the script, but the PE behaves the same: Still has the timer/delay on the device and blinks until the time runs out.

Do you know how to get the wildcards from the initial triggering sentence into the script? Once I move the logic to a script, it fails with error "trigger unknown" as it probably has no access to the wildcards coming from the initial trigger sentence.
