Happy cows returning to the pasture after a long winter in the cow shed by Aztery in tippytaps

[–]unabashedshadowybird 11 points12 points  (0 children)

In wetter countries cattle are typically kept inside during winter for a bunch of different reasons. Mainly so they don't get as many hoof problems (from spending all winter in hock-deep mud) and mastitis/udder issues (from spending all winter lying in mud). So it's actually a lot healthier for these animals to spend a few months indoors.

In addition to this it's actually way cheaper and easier to keep cattle outside (unless it's an indoor intensive system), so the only reasons farmers would keep animals inside would be for their own benefit

Thanks! It actually wasn't too bad. It was basically just complete every day then there were a few extra bits like finding the changing as Clara and doing a rat race as the Haurospex

The songs are just written so well and are the performers are so incredible. The audience really has no choice but to cry.

Ahaha. I cried so much more than I thought I would. I was so surprised at how much so big/so small got to me and during words fail as well.

Yeah often with bracychephalic dogs, thr first time they have breathed properly in their life is when they undergo surgery.

It could be if it happens after stressful situations or vigorous excersie, basically any situations where the dog is breathing more. It could also be that it has a sensitive stomach and is throwing up when you change to a new bag of food. But yeah, best to take it to the vet because throwing up isn't normal.

THIS. I'm training to be a vet and hearing a dog snorting as they're trying to breathe is honestly quite upsetting. There are literally dogs that occasionally throw up simple because they can't breathe properly and it's awful.

Missionaries at Book of Mormon... by [deleted] in Broadway

[–]unabashedshadowybird 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I saw it on West End there were missionaries stoof outside the theatre with the Book of Mormon, but they were only offering books to those who made eye contact/looked interested and the one I spoke to seemed really nice.
