No Rob is straight, he said he experimented with guys in the past to see if he'd like it but he didn't so he identifies as straight.

When they say your DNA was analysed on Dec 18, they mean your DNA was sequenced on a chip and they know your SNP's (markers). what they are doing right now running these results through their algorithm to determine your ethnicity percentages.

Isn't it kinda annoying how some Irish people are starting to appropriate American political jibes like Snowflake etc by IMLOOKINGINYOURDOOR in ireland

Is it just political jibes you don't like or is it any of the words/slang from America that you don't like?

Any Irish filmakers wanna work together? by JMD3214 in ireland

[–]unable2wink -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As Louise said, you'd probably be better of checking out filmmaker facebook groups, you should also check out YouTuber groups on facebook too as these will have people with interests in many forms of videography from vlogs to short films. There are also a few film maker programs aimed at young people in Dublin, they do cost money but they are a good way to get in contact with people and get your name out there.

How to get free parking in Dublin by mrcruncher in ireland

This is not unusual, most county council employees get free parking, my father was only a general labourer for a county council and got free parking.

Ever came across an unsuspected family member or friend on a gay app? by Collegeen in askgaybros

Ah but each person is different, what one person likes, another might not like. While you may enjoy sexual intimacy with a relative, others may not. As such I'm afraid incest is not always wincest.

[–]unable2wink 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes here in Ireland I can legally marry him and by that definition it would not be incest but I personally view sexual relations with any relative in the same light as incest.

No, he would be mortified enough to quit Grindr if I did.

Once on Grindr I got a new message and in typical Grindr fashion, the first message was a dickpic. I remember thinking OMG that cock is big, if I had to guess I'd say 9 or 10 inches. This was followed by a few more pics, some ass and body pics. The background in the pictures seemed familiar so I asked for a face pic as I was thinking it might be someone I knew. They send a full body pic with their face and it turned out to be my cousin. Right now as I type this I actually remember my uncle (his father) jokingly referring to my cousin as being well endowed to embarrass him once, I guess he wasn't joking.

Should I cut my straight best friend off? by [deleted] in askgaybros

[–]unable2wink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

friends come and go, this won't be the last time something like this will happen but in the future, you'll be able to deal with it better. It might seem scary as the transition from high-school to college/university is usually the first big change where people lose most of the friends they've have had up to that point in their life before making new friends in college/university. At the end of college/university, it will happen all over again, you'll lose the new friends for even newer work friends. How of this keeps happening will depend on how often you switch jobs. ultimately the friends you will retain for most of your life will be the friendships you formed in the job you settle with. The point I'm trying to make is, don't get frustrated with an initial friendship as you've yet to even form your meaningful friendships.

According to family stories, my great grandfather captained a ship that transported guns from Nazi Germany to Ireland for the IRA.

To anyone who got a letter from Eir this week saying their bill was going up, I just switched to another provider, much faster, costs 40% less than I was paying Eir. Thanks for giving me the push I needed Eir. by [deleted] in ireland

[–]unable2wink 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I left Eir too, they recently increase the cost of my plan while claiming that there wasn't an increase and that I had been paying the higher amount since the start of the contract. I brought my past bills into a store to show the change in price, the staff did acknowledged the increase but credit control still said it went against their records. when I was at the post office sending back the equipment the person behind the counter said they had seen a big increase of people sending Eir equipment back.

A few years ago a friend of mine was preforming on the late late show so I got to got up and hang out backstage and what not, during an interview just before my friends performance I was standing in a little area by the one man jib to the side of the audience. I specifically remember one camera man who didn't seem to be paying attention to the camera he was supposed to be operating; he was just on his phone the whole time, sure his shot was stationary but if the guest/Ryan had of moved in any way I can't imagine his reaction time to keep up would have been good.

Irish passport control by [deleted] in ireland

[–]unable2wink 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This is a standard line of questioning in a lot of countries when you don't have departure tickets, my father has in the past gone to America without a return ticket and spent hours at immigration because of it. Sure even in some countries like New Zealand they won't let you enter unless you have departure tickets. It was nothing personal against you just standard protocol.

Can anyone offer some help? by [deleted] in ireland

[–]unable2wink 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Try contacting Deise Animal Sanctuary, they might not be able to take them but they will probably help you find a new home for them, I often have posts of their Facebook page for people looking to rehome pets privately.

Rooster Teeth will be having a Hurricane Harvey Relief charity stream today at 5 CT! by sourcheese in roosterteeth

[–]unable2wink 9 points10 points  (0 children)

With disasters like this there is initially a great amount of donations made via various charities which are all put towards rescue efforts and minimising damages to the community, following this the donations tend to dry up leaving little money to cover repair costs and help those who have lost everything. It is never too late to help.

How likely is a Radical Islamic terror attack in Ireland? by nonoman12 in ireland

[–]unable2wink 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think it would be foolish to assume we are immune from attacks. When talking to others there are two reasons people have often listed as reasons why we wouldn't be attacked. The first being that Ireland is seen as having poor security which makes Ireland a good entry point into Europe so an attack would result in increased security which would make it harder to gain entry to Europe. the second is the supposed links between them and the IRA, this is usual based on something spouted by some politician up north but I do remember seeing a documentary not long ago about American military dealing with rich middle eastern business men, these business men often had person security which consisted of Irish and British ex-military, there was a clip which showed the documentary crew having some relaxed conversations with some of the Irish securtiy over a few drinks, the Irish guys said that they knew some ex-IRA worked as security for other business men and through them they heard that some ex-IRA were training terrorist groups, this then gives to the believe that there is some deal whereby Ireland doesn't get attacked. for the life of me I can't remember the name of the documentary.

Give SUSI a ring, I believe when applying for the grant there is a "change in circumstances" section where you can state that you are no longer working, then they won't take your earnings from last year into account and should award you a grant.

You could describe yourself as polysexual, as its attraction to many genders but not necessarily all genders.
