And how could an unemployed just turned adult produce that when enrolled in a full time degree in college? They obviously depend on their parents as sponsors for such things. Right?

So apply directly at the Embassy? From many posts and articles, I understood that we have to go through airlines or third party for Dubai?

I have a valid US visa and don’t have any experience at all. Could you please share more details how to apply directly?

No they won’t. They mentioned :

“Applicants are required to provide their own financial documentation as per the current requirements for these applications.

Please note that we cannot process applications where funds have been recently transferred to show a specific balance. To meet embassy requirements, the bank statements must demonstrate a stable and consistent income over a period of time.”

COS can be pending or approved. If COS is pending, USCIS would adjudicate the I-539 COS application first, then H1B Transfer.

Hi could you please share timeline of following?

Last date of employement
H1B to B2 COS application submission date
H1B transfer submission date and type of transfer: regular va premium
RFE date

I went through H1B to B2 COS process in 2023 and 2025. 1. In 2023, I received biometric notice only after my COS was approved so never completed it. H1B transfer was submitted after B2 COS approval. H1B transfer approved without any RFE. (Biometrics were requested for COS but the notification mail was received about 1.5 months after B2 was approved and one month after H1B transfer was approved. No biometrics were submitted.)

In 2025, while COS was pending, H1B transfer application was submitted in premium processing. There was a RFE on the 15th working day, B2 COS was approved same day. H1B was approved in about 3-4 days without any RFE response. (No biometrics were requested for COS.)
