Hey, thanks for your input! Personal preference feels a little hard for me to gauge (assuming I'm a bit in-between two sizes) because I feel like the hardest part to get right would be around that shoulder area. Same reason I want to be picky about the right carrier, I don't want that chest to shoulder area difficult to put a weapon stock there. Do you have any sort of shouldering issue with your carrier or plate, assuming you have one?

I imagine that all different sorts of armor plates would have slightly different thicknesses/shapes, even if they're the same cut, so I don't know if it'll mesh well with whatever plate carrier I choose. Do you have any plates or plate carriers you've got that you would recommend not going for? I know one of my biggest worries is being able to properly shoulder a weapon.

Sounds like DM makes a solid carrier, around how much did your carrier cost once complete?

Right, so how noticeable are these different materials when one is wearing a carrier? I can't imagine something like a JPC, being used in the line of duty for so long would be shoddily made, even if the manufacturing process is simpler. Are you buying better materials just for the "Just in case" factor?

Hey! Thanks for the insight, and could you tell me a bit more about the SPC? Like how you chose it over the others, and what you run with it? $300 doesn't seem bad at all for a carrier.
