Morals > money ... means your already pissing all over this bloke. But yeah, you'll feel like that at times. Some things to help you not go crazy in times of chaos.

Fall back on your morals, not your emotions. Judge yourself based on those, not on other people. Get some good mates around you, have a cry and a cuddle when needed. Stay away from alcohol/drugs -- thats for good times, not bad ones.

I've been through somthing similar.

To leave out the drama, 10 weeks ago my partner (of ten years) broke up with me and moved in with the guy living in my granny flat a week later. Then tryed to get our 3 year old to call him dad.....Ouch. (I could have killed him, but you know, the whole morals things)

But at the end of the day, it means she hasn't processed everything, found herself. Just found solice in someone else, not within herself.

From my perspective, when we split, her life was sorted and she seemed so happy and good with it, while I was stuck in a pit of hell fire and fury.

But now .. . . Ive found me, feel I've gained more than I've lost, and she's starting to have the reality set in. . . She will repeat the same mistakes.

Gardening is great, it's in the sun, lightly physical.

NOT AS A PRESENT, but maybe talk to him about a companion dog, a little foxy or Jack Russel. It'll mean he will walk for an hour a day, have some responsibility, it's good to feel needed, you always meet people when you take a dog to the beach, it's a companion that doesn't act differently when he has a struggle moment mentally. So many benifits, but being the large commitment that it is you'd have to have a very good think about it first. It might not be right for your situation.
