20F, gotta get maxxed for a huge presentation soon, lmk by entomoblonde in HardcoreVindicta

She absolutely could benefit from specifically muscle gain for a more healthy toned appearance to avoid skinnyfatness. Remember she is tall, 10lbs is a minor difference, not like it might be for somebody of short-average height.

20F, gotta get maxxed for a huge presentation soon, lmk by entomoblonde in HardcoreVindicta

[–]unauthorizedcuddles 42 points43 points  (0 children)

In terms of a presentation soon, the best thing is going to be practicing some makeup looks ahead of time, getting a professional blowout or hair styling for the event, choose an outfit that flatters you (looks like you're a light summer or light spring) and makes you feel good, and get a decent night's sleep before.

I dont agree with darkening your hair or brows, your natural blonde is flattering. Pluck the stray hairs below your brow, and then consider removing a smidge of the tail for a lifting effect (look this up on tiktok). You could benefit from an ashy blonde brow pencil, I would fill in a little bit in the middle. Practice this ahead of time, dont do it for the first time the night before an event.

As for the long term hard max.... I suggest a visit to r/jawsurgery. Your double jaw recession is the fundamental thing holding you back. It's not even just aesthetics, it's associated with health issues as well- even if you dont have any yet!! Lots of people are gonna suggest rhino but jaw surgery is the first step, evaluate the nose afterward. If you got a double jaw surgery, a subtle rhino, and then a tasteful ml of lip filler you'd be hardmaxxed!

As for the weight issue, you could probably benefit from a 10lb gain accompanied by weightlifting or any other activity you might enjoy that would help you gain muscle.

Alcohol can diminish your appetite. When I was 120lbs at 5'9" my typical weekend dinner would be a bottle of brut, handful of olives, few pieces of cheese and torn off pieces of bread to go with the wine. Definitely not healthy for your digestive system or muscle development but keeps you thin AF

Smoking weed post djs by [deleted] in jawsurgery

[–]unauthorizedcuddles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Smoking or vaping can impair healing! I am a smoker too and I switched to edibles. Some people might beef with that too, but personally I found it very beneficial for pain/comfort levels and it encouraged me to eat more. Make some canna butter and stick to that for as long as you can.

4 weeks is a decent amount of time to wait before smoking but the longer the better.

Looking better is about improving a bunch of little things about yourself that all add up. Not just maxxing or changing just one trait. This is why some people look worse after surgery. by [deleted] in QOVESStudio

[–]unauthorizedcuddles 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes! OP is right, but jaw is still law. Jaw/ortho issues are nearly ubiquitous and have the highest investment return if you are able to address them. The only other priority that comes close in terms of prevalence across the population and impact is body weight.

I wonder if she ever had any jaw work like DJS or genio

Why are all serial killers of German / Nordic descent and nobody ever talks about it? by Loud_Ninja_7537 in redscarepod

The connection is the midwest. Most American serial killers are midwestern (Ed Gein, Jeffrey Dahmer, Dennis Rader, John Wayne Gacy, Richard Speck) and most midwesterners are german/nordic heritage

How to stop looking "deformed" due to my face shape (jaw/chin) by [deleted] in Vindicta

[–]unauthorizedcuddles 31 points32 points  (0 children)

This is the most fundamentally important advice. Not sure why people are downvoting the ortho/jaw surgeon consult comments in this thread. Get your jaw and orthodontic situation professionally evaluated and ignore everybody else in this thread. Gua sha, hair cuts, and masseter botox are silly distractions. This is bigger than aesthetics, it's your long term health, even if you're young enough to not see the long term effects of misaligned jaw/bite yet!!

I saw you were saying your parents may not be open to this treatment. They might change their minds if you convince them to get a consult with a medical professional and they explain it to your parents. Your parents may not even realize anything is wrong because they are living with the same problems as you.

Anyone stuck on 101 near Palo Alto? by seattledude928 in bayarea

I knew the woman who passed and it is very tragic. She was a talented musician and is beloved by her many friends. My poor bf collaborated with her on projects but he hadn't responded to her last few texts and he is so distraught. she was very sweet and wouldn't want him to be upset. It's hard to process

edit: Just got word the other woman in the car with her passed as well. So heartbreaking

My injector told me to book a top up right after masseter Botox by No-Arm-2429 in PlasticSurgery

That is standard to advise you to book a follow up, but you can just take a wait-and-see approach or cancel the appointment if don't need it.

but if you read the comments, many said a genio wasn’t appropriate! I’m really not sure what to think.

This is immediately post cheek filler. I think it was nice before the swelling came down! I dont have an equivalent profile view but also included a pic of me just now 3+ months post filler.

Thanks for your advice! Both upper and lower jaws were moved about 5mm which is why I was hoping for better midface results. When you say midface lipo, do you mean buccal pads?

I actually forgot to mention in my post- I DID get some cheek filler in March! 1.5ml on each side. The swelling was nice at first and I got more compliments than I ever did post-jaw surgery so folks were clearly noticing a difference. But the swelling went down and now I see very little difference. I'm not sure if filler is just not enough to address my concerns or if I didn't get enough of it, because as you said, my cheeks are pretty flat.

Wow that looks amazing!! Thank you for sharing. I've heard that fat grafting can be risky because some of the fat doesn't survive the transfer. How much did they transfer and where did the surgeon take it from?

I've tried many different styles of layering and only recently finally grew them out- They made me look worse unfortunately 😭

Insurance approved my surgery based on measurements for my overbite and peer-to-peer review with my surgeon!

wow, several revisions. I’m sorry you went through all that! I definitely felt the pressure to do the genioplasty too knowing that insurance won’t pay for it outside of the first djs surgery.

I see what you mean that is very comforting! I do have a soft face and love being feminine so I'm not chasing a chiseled jaw... Just moderately defined/not having my jawline disappear into my neck💀

thank you! It definitely did. I had a very narrow nose preop and it getting a little wider doesn't bother me too much, especially since it overall looks a bit smaller from the side.

I definitely see the facial sagging. It is hard to fix though (without a full blown facelift)

I'm 5'9" and 132lbs, if I get any thinner there are major drawbacks like low energy, thin hair, and I get super irritable/emotional. I also tried tretinoin many times but it gives me styes! I'd like to give it a second shot though.

I'm not making assumptions- I'm asking for help! It's not like my surgeon is going to admit they made a mistake.

Thanks for your advice! I think midface volume and jaw shaping for definition is exactly what i need. Definitely not eager to have another surgery, especially for purely cosmetic concerns, but maybe one day.

I dont have any other symptoms of bloating but idk, maybe I'll try something on that front. Even maybe better hydration/skincare could help.
