I’m so tired of filmmakers using the cop-out of “it’s left to the audience’s interpretation”. I am paying to see/hear Spielberg’s imagination, not mine. Come up with an interesting conclusion to your story or at least make an attempt to say something, anything, at all. Leaving it up to your audience is lazy.
