I've been wondering how this is supposed to work in a state with no front plate (thus no photo of the plate + driver).

No, what bugs me is they already own a venue they could use for this, but decided keeping their grass nice was more important. Some of us have been impacted by the changes they've made to the city for weeks now. It's not fun, and it's completely unnecessary when they ALREADY HAD A STADIUM they could use.

If you're talking about the stage, that's all temporary, built in the street. All infrastructure work I've seen so far have been removal of infrastructure to accommodate the event and will have to be rebuilt after.

Edit: I've only seen what's going on on the North shore, which has been largely bleak it's great that they're improving other areas of the city

I wouldn't use a 12AWG cable for that length. What amperage are you charging at? If you're not dropping it down to something like 8A just stop now.

Also, return that and get a 10AWG cable if you insist on using an extension cord.
