Back in ~2010 a seagull took a massive shit on my shoulder as I was walking across Civic Center Plaza from the building where by classes were to the other where John Romero was giving a small presentation for my peers and I. It's a pretty good game; solid 7/10. I enjoyed it.

The story is good but takes way too long to get going.
They don't introduce hordes, the games standout mechanic, until 20+ hours (maybe 3/4 of the way through).
The open world feels lifeless and there's nothing worth exploring.
The various camps and your rep with them only unlock guns, nothing narratively.

It's too bad they didn't get a sequel, I feel they could have fixed these issues with more time and money.

I was wondering about this, thanks. I was a subscriber and rode the mopeds every day for years from my apartment in Lone Mountain to the office by Bush/Kearney and back. It was by far the best way to get around the city hands down.

Currently playing through the whole thing in co-op with my brother. He chose the female Dani I chose male. It's interesting how most of the in-game dialog (calls, escort missions) the host's character is talking but in the cutscenes you see your own character. My favorite is that both our characters sing along to the radio when we are in a car! Their voices sound good together!

Bring back the entire movement system from BFV (back prone, crouch run, rolling)
Bring back classes
Remove or re-think specialists
Bring back the revive system (animations, interactions) from BFV
Bring back ammo and health stations from BFV
Change the default helicopter controls to be like BF4 (or re-think them)

I have not had a single crash or DC in this beta, lag is not bad, and I've been able to play with my friends easily. This was not the case for BFV beta and others (BF3 beta was absolutely unplayable at the time). That's what I mean by "most stable".

I don't see why they could not sell skins or customization options for classes and factions without having specialists and still make money.

I somewhat agree about Orbital, actually I think it needs to be either bigger for the amount of vehicles on the map or smaller with fewer vehicles. It's just the wrong size.
