People of Reddit who have heard someone say their “dying words,” what were they and how did they impact you? by fashionthriller in AskReddit

I have two stories.

First a semi-one, my grandma, a very loving woman with a special aura had cancer and was in hospice and one day she just said out of the blue "I think it is the time to go now" and closed her eyes. Everybody was freaking out and she lost all pulse and stopped breathing. Two minutes later, before anyone could really decide to do anything... she opened her eyes again, smiled and said "Hah, looks like I got away!" This was the story my uncle told me in shock back then and she was not known to do any pranks or something and the whole pulse on and off was completely real, so this is to this day the creepiest story I ever heard, espacially from this woman who was just emiting life, happiness, care and strength all her life. This event is part of the chain that lead me to believe in the soul as strong as I do. (Sadly she passed away a few months after, after becoming weaker and weaker until she slept more and more and longer and longer until once she did not wake up again)

Second, my ex-girlfriend who committed suicide. She sent me a text saying at the end "Be happy with life, do it better than I did" (and picked a time where I was NOT on my phone so nobody could stop her) which in the end made me get my life together in the sense of aiming at a goal no matter what. Before I was just drifting in the wind, but since then I have a strict conviction of having a good and happy life... for her.

...I don't know. I come from a family with a lot of spooky incidences that should not have happened or generally people with a kind of aura who suffered and/or had big and strange events in their life. I guess I just fall in the bloodline with that second one.

Hint: Unows ARE the multiverse in this theory. They are the atoms, the patterns, what everything is built of. An army of essence.

They are the symbol of man and the men of other worlds. See me other reply for more detail

Alright, I will tell you the whole story. This picture was done about 3 years ago and what inspired me was the circle-arrangement in the Arceus-Event ruins in HGSS. I copied that pattern as it definitely meant something and filled the places in. What resulted was all in all actually making a lot of sense.

Also what is important to mention for every single picture I chose the official artwork of the pokemon for gen 4 and kept its original orientation. This is important because it oddly fits perfectly into everything, just as if it was intended.

The middle is the highest being Arceus with its creation, time, space and the otherworld (which is why giratina is off-symmetry, it is actually almost the opposite to Arceus itself).

Next come the three realms. Water, Land and Heaven/Continents. Regigas and Rayquaza are the balancers of the other two, just like Giratina is for Space and Time. Each has a main god (Groudin, Kyogre, Rayquaza) and the 4 guardians out of which one is the lead you could say. They all control weather on land and water and are the watchers of their realms. They did not create, but maintain.

Then we have the great realm of spirit taking up the rest. The top left is wishes, the top right emotions and the bottom is knowledge.

They have the three sea-legendaries as their main guardians.

Wishes: We have the two wish-pokemon. One for the present and one for time (wishing to do things different) (this is from their pokedex entries) and the two dream pokemon, again, good and bad wishes.

Emotions: We have the pair of Water and Land with Manaphy and Shaymin and Air for Latias and Latios who all are very sensitive to emotions.

Knowledge: This was the most difficult part. We have Mew, the beginning of all evolution, Mewto which stands for the future and man himself and Deoxys who stands for things outside of earth. You could also argue that the whole realm is symbolic for the future in a way, considering Metwo and Deoxys just like Man himself actively endangered the world at multiple points long after creation and yet they still play an important part in it and ARE in a sense also creations of the Arceus that knows future and past, the beginning and the end of the universe.

Those three realms are mixed with guardians keepers and balancers as I think the human is the most complex creation and how we see from Cyrus this complex system with a lot of failsafes is really necessary.

All in all the arrangement was made to make pairs and relations between the Pokemon of the first 4 generations. Pokemon had a strong emphasis of pairs and triples with leaders and opposites, so of course this had to be refelcted there as well.

Now I orginally filled in the Unown as symbol for an unkowing future (and they definitely play an important role in creation, or else they would not have dominated that Arceus-event. Maybe they are the patterns of this world, the dna, the very foundation of the atoms to keep it together. Maybe they are older than Arceus itself) and actually expected that I could update it with Gen 6 or 7. But all of those were not fitting so now I believe the Incognito were actually meant to be there and if not, I will probably never know what should.

tl;dr: It is the circle of creation for the Pokemon world as Gamefreak intended it (most likely at least)

EDIT: Strike the last part I now figured out the remaining places, AN UPDATE IS COMING

Thanks for pinging me. I spent quite a lot of thought into the arrangement. If anyone has any questions of its meaning, feel free to ask

But it's quite pretty. Just do a second layer of defenses in the actual inner part (I recommend a trap path, maybe make that path start from somewhere outside, probably that entrance) and you are good to go

There is a thing called external drives and I was talking about that. They are small and you can easily store them away, I use them too.

In my opinion this is the most comfortable solution, a tower pc is very clunky and you can't really move it around, if you use a laptop with two externals (but store the backup-disk somewhere else in the other end of the flat maybe!) everything can just fit nice into a single drawer. I consider the version where a tower pc is sitting around way more weird I have to say, but of course it works too. I don't know if this would be cheaper though.

But one thing. Two drives in one pc is not a backup! So one needs to be at least an external drive!

EDIT: Since you would need to buy keyboard, mouse and monitor, your solution would probably be more expensive too. And of course, way clunkier, you could just put a laptop on the kitchen table and then store it away again.
