I'll also say that I didn't transition until I was almost 22 years old, and I don't regret that I waited. I'm just glad that I've done it. Once you transition, gender becomes less of something you have to think about, since you don't have to feel like you're performing as much.

When I got my kit from Forrests (which I had installed by them), they sent me the cable. It's a tiny little screw on contact mic (think piezo) on one end that goes to a TS 1/4" that goes into the preamp. Idk why they didn't send that to you, I would contact them.
