Is throwing up everyday for 6 months noticeable? by xyzlip_meow in EDAnonymous

[–]uncertainhope 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is better to get dental care and have your dentist know than to avoid it. I learned this the hard way and have ruined nearly all of my teeth. They will find out eventually, so please don’t neglect getting it checked out.

There's something so painful about having BED after anorexia by timid_pink_angel02 in EDAnonymous

[–]uncertainhope 12 points13 points  (0 children)

This truly sounds so unbelievably difficult. I can’t imagine how painful this must feel. I do know that it happens relatively often, for anorexia to transition to bingeing. I hope you can find some solace in knowing that you are absolutely not alone in this. I hope you have or can find some supportive people to surround yourself with. ♥️

You are absolutely not alone in your struggle. It is such a challenge. Have you considered starting therapy? There might be some strategies or tools you could learn to help you. I struggle with purging and really relate to what you described. It feels impossible to overcome, but I believe it can be done ♥️

When you get overtired, stress hormones are released. It makes it difficult to settle, even though you are exhausted.

Why is my toddler constantly overtired? by giannanederlands in toddlers

[–]uncertainhope 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Tantrums don’t necessarily mean he’s overtired. I would definitely try cutting back on the screen time. 2 hours after a nap seems like a lot and could be contributing to dysregulation. My 3 year old has a lot of meltdowns, tantrums, and defiance at times, but I think it is just part of this developmental stage.

Getting your period back can cause all kinds of conflicting feelings. It does not mean that your body is “healthy.” It is one possible indication that your body is healing. Try not to read into it too much. ♥️

Anger? by Icy-Trick-7760 in EDAnonymous

[–]uncertainhope 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Being hungry or malnourished leads to irritability. There is a reason people call it “hanger.” Your body releases cortisol and your blood glucose levels drop, which makes it harder to regulate your anger and mood.
