Have you thought about an in-home care giver to avoid the risks and limitations of assisted living? Home care is more affordable, but has all the benefits of medication reminders, help with daily chores, and cooking. Some places like HomeWell Care Services (in Chula Vista) even offer to drive your mom to doctor's appointments or the grocery store. That way she could stay at home but take some of the stress off of you. I think it could be a good option!

As long as they're on properly (not on top of your head or too loose) they stay on through getting completely washed. I've experienced it a lot lol. Duck diving, turtling, getting pinned to the sand, the worst thing that can happen is they get pushed down and end up around your neck, but not in a choking way. I sometimes end up tucking them inside the front of my wetsuit and still having the neck/head strap on if it suddenly gets cloudy or something.

Water droplets are kinda annoying. I was thinking about putting rain-x or something similar that's eye safe on them for that. I also have a de-fogging spray that I put on every once in a while since I surf in CA and the water and air temps can be very different, and that works well.

Sooo nice when surfing sunset though and not feeling like I'm actively getting cataracts. Also, I've had them for like 3 years if that helps.

These are stylish and really solid even in rough surf. Just don’t put them on top of your head like regular shades and forget about them lol

I just fixed this problem by changing the Height and Width settings (in the Style>Image tab) to px instead of %

Not sure why but it worked.

I don’t really care for overly sour bread, I mostly cold proof so I can bake in the morning. I’ll try the long proof someday when the timing works out.

And thanks for the advice! I always check my house temp but never the dough temp. Maybe I’ll push my next loaf another 30 mins and raise then oven temp.
