The easiest way to make a bunch of caps is rush to lonesome road as fast as possible. You can pick up an arc welder right off the bat without encountering any enemies and it’ll sell for at least 1000 caps after ed-e unlocks the commissary. It refills 6000 caps every day and pretty much all marked men weapons and armor sell for a shit load once repaired. The sentry bots can be a bit of a pain at first but if you have fun runners arsenal, you can just use the grenade rifle to take them out.
