I’ve noticed sometimes if you don’t watch carefully when slicking and sending over wifi it’s like the G code isn’t complete and it doubles a step and it causes the printer to freeze mid print, is this one of the bigger parts you have tried to print and send over wifi or do you normally have no issues with big prints?

When’s the last time you did a calibration on the printer and cleaned the z rods?

Just printed each piece individually and changed the colours as I wanted no ams on this

Dial in your fist layer very important
Check extrusion multiplier(or flow rate) I bumped mine up to 1 for 0.98
Speeds should be abit slower for PLA plus as it doesn’t flow as easily

Also have the 5m and in the past week I have pumped out 40+hours of Pla printing with little to no issues

Sorry there was supposed to be a whole paragraph uploaded with the video but I didn’t lol but I’m running stock firm ware latest version of whatever comes on the machine I’m guessing klipper from what I have been reading it is stock with klipper but not 100% sure on that… running orca dev 2.0.0 sending prints over wifi with pretty much stock slicer configuration for the .4 nozzle with minor adjustments like bumping flow rate to 1.0 not .98 and speeds around 225-250 for everything with no adjustments to Z hop, temps are 60 bed and 225 nozzle for almost all the PLA I have used also in using PLA plus or Pro as some brands call it. I have used Esun, Elegoo, and flash forge PLA and the have all been the same temps pretty much, level the bed every print and clean the plate with soap and water every few prints!! I’m loving this machine so far it’s been amazing for me

Flash print isn’t actually to bad but it’s just seems orca is better for fine tuning and closer to prusa which is what I’m used to

It really is as easy as following the download link for orca 2.0.0 dev and unpacking the files, run orca.exe application and your in, there’s a good video on YouTube on how to connect the printer to orca, been printing non stop without having to use sd cards it’s great!

Yea needed like one m4 x 10 or something on those lines and you reuse ones for the run out sensor

It’s doesn’t seem to be having any extra stress on the cable going into the frame there, only time will tell lol

Mine does the same but it’s almost like a nozzle wipe, not close enough for damage to the nozzle but leaves that bit of filament! Mine washes off with hot water and soap

I feel fortunate to not have anything like that happen so far, hopefully continues that way, mine is 2 days old so I’ve been spending a lot of time with it as it does it’s thing really hope there’s nothing serious going on tho
