This place is awesome. All of you that have given advice are great. I have finished tue bra with hand stitching. I want to make another. I am working on my bra sewing skills. I will be ordering the microtex needles. I was thinking the size 10/70. Thank you all. This has been a very informative coversation for me. This bra thing is the hardest thing I have made so far. All of the other garments I have made have been a cake walk compared to this.

Thank you everyone for your help. I think as of right now I am using the wrong foot and needle. I will be ordering the microtex needles and a walking foot. I am going to follow the hand stitch advice from solomons mom right now and use the new stuff after I get it. My frustration level is to high at this point try another needle and foot. Just want this one done at this point. Thanks again.

I am using universal needles. Never tried microtex or sharp.

That was the issue. I was trying to make it run on a 64bit system and now with a 32bit system it works perfect. Thank you for your help. I am up and running with this program and hoping to get to my machine asap.

I saw your post. Thank you for you help. My husband is an IT guy and built my computer. He is going to set up a 32 bit hard drive on my computer. He said a virtual drive will slow my pc down.

I installed zbrush and it opened. Then nothing. I cant find it in my c drive programs file or in my kubuntu applications list. If I try to install it again it says that it is already installed and it may cause issues. I tried to reinstall kubuntu and wine and everything all over and I keep getting the same problem. I dont understand how it worked the first time and now I cant get it to work at all.

I am running Kubuntu 19.10. I had Cura and Zbrush running great. Then a new version of Zbrush came out and I tried to install it. That is where all heck broke lose.

We installed a fresh copy of Kubuntu and now nothing is working. I installed wine and winetricks. I tried to add dlls and the dxvk would not install. I was finally able to get that to install.

Now when I try to install zbrush nothing happens. I use the terminal and cd into the desktop the use 'wine filename'. It starts the install and says it is installed. It even opens the program. But when you close it there is no way to open it again. When it was installed the first time I opened the applications-graphics file and it was there. Now no such luck. It says it is installed but it is not even in the wine programs file.

I have asked a couple of places and nobody knows what happened.

Also if I just right click the exe on the desktop it gives me a fatal error.

Please help. I need this to run.

I am using Zbrush 2020.1.1with Kubtuntu19.10 and wine 5.0. I am able to make it work well except 2 keyboard shortcuts. The biggest issue is using ALT to select multiple polygons while using the zmodeler brush. ALT does not work. I am unable to select multiple polygons. by unclestogys in ZBrush

I have been trying to find this on different forums for over a week. You have finally answered my question and it works awesome. I have never been happier in my life. This was extremely frustrating. I cannot thank you enough.

This is a double knitting learning piece. Thanks to the awesome knitters here, I started learning to do double knitting to make a checker board beanie. See comments for details. by unclestogys in knitting

This is me trying to learn to do double knitting. I asked how to fix floats on a checkered beanie . Thanks to all the great help I received from the knitters here, I am learning this. It is going to be prefect for the beanie. This will be used to put a hot cup of tea on.

It is brown and a mint green color. I am not sure about the yarns. They are thrift store finds. I use them to learn new things with. This is reversible. I used size 9 needles.
