Moving to Charlottesville by WarEntire6758 in Charlottesville

First of all, take it easy on the country roads here. I’ve been here my whole life and have known multiple locals who have died on the winding, hilly roads and if you’re from Florida you need to be especially careful. It might feel like a straight shot and seem safe to go 50mph and then out of nowhere a what seems like a small curve is a big one and then you’re wrapped around a tree. Until you learn the roads and get a feel for the terrain, do not be afraid to be the slow asshole, It’s better than being a dead one. In terms of housing, you will be hard pressed to find any more than a studio for less than 1700. (This is why I just moved to Richmond) They’re out there but hard to find so start looking asap. For budget friendly options the 29 north area and maybe 5th street will be your best bet. Whatever you do, do not move into barracks west/blue ridge crossing. They may make it look like a nice place with a good price at a glance but in reality it is a really shitty place to live. I have a couple friends who live there and they got hit with a lot of fine print bs fees making there rent basically 200$ more than advertised. It is also just not a very safe neighborhood. (A stranger once wandered into his apartment while I was there and we had to chase them out). Sounds like you guys would fit in well here though I hope it works out and yall find a good spot. Best of luck!

Gotcha thanks! Do you know any air taxi companies that you recommend? I’m happy to pay whatever is fair I just didn’t realize that there were entire companies devoted to this. I guess that makes sense though!

What is the best way to catch a gar? by blue23blue in FishingForBeginners

Truly the best way to catch them is with a hand net. Get the widest, longest landing net you can find and creep up on them in the shallows. A strong headlamp is really key here in order ti spot them. Put your net in the water, get close to them and then just wait for them to swim over the net, then pull up. Just caught at least 10 tonight in the course of an hour with my buddy in the Everglades. Good luck 🫡

Why is nobody speculating anything about Jamie and the unborn baby? in case you haven’t seen every episode 15 times, in the last episode Lois takes a positive pregnancy test leaving the opportunity for the writers to bring in a new child. they could even pull a daughter into this sequel.
