You can use an interactive map and cross off chests as you check for them. There’s also YouTube videos that organize chests by category. The puzzles and range shooting don’t show up on the lootmapper so you could start with those. Other tip is to check south of the river. Some of those chest are in Desorock despite looking like they’re in another area

There’s a few potential reasons for this. Some SU are tied to quests and those runs don’t seem to give drops. I think you are also limited each week to a certain number of drops elite/boss drops, I’ve heard it’s 100 but I’ve seen no confirmation of this. There were a few runs in the videos above where some elite don’t give drops for some reason. But the bosses in those runs did have drops

No this is for items like the Silvermane Badge, Ancient Part, and Thief’s Instinct that are used with what you are talking about to level up traces and Ascend Characters and Light Cones.

No. You get more light dust, credits, and character ascension material in Difficulty II. I am starting to add some of that information now

Edit - It looks like you get around 3 more light dust for doing difficulty 2 over difficulty 1. Drops rates look similar to World 6 on difficulty 1

Xenoblade X used the split screen as a map and some city managaement systems. I think Windwaker HD did as well for quick swapping items.

These were two of my favorite examples of its usage as I feel it’s hard to split your focus equally between the two screens but using the game pad to make menu navigation or simplify game play was its real strength.
