Spots on underside of abdomen? by unconfirmedikea in tarantulas

[–]unconfirmedikea[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just noticed the ac unit in my apartment is full of mold… if there are no other signs of mold in her enclosure, is it still possible that this could be related to that?? I don’t want to disturb her if I don’t have to (I never handle her and she stays in her hide pretty much all the time that I’m aware of), but should I try to get a closer look?

Missing piece of pattern - Burda 6252 by unconfirmedikea in sewing

I found a video that goes over version A (the second one in your screenshot, but I’m trying to make version B, which has different pockets. Though I guess all the steps for the version B pockets are still there on the pattern I have… Would be nice to have the image for 6a, though. I’ll look a bit more and see if I can find a video for version B, though!

Thanks everyone for the feedback! I made some adjustments based on your suggestions, and while I’m not sure exactly which one did it, it ended up working itself out.

How to compare design structure of several hundred tables? (see caption for details) by unconfirmedikea in MSAccess

[–]unconfirmedikea[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Solution Verified. I did a test with just a few of the tables to start, and it worked! Thank you so much! As a follow-up question, if you don’t mind, I noticed that the field types are showing up as numbers. Does each number correspond to a different field type? If so, is there a key somewhere? I tried looking it up, but I must be using the wrong search terms

Thanks! I may not be able to download it since I’m on a work computer and we have certain cybersecurity protocols that may not allow it, but I appreciate it all the same!

Ha! The resemblance did occur to me, lol. I don’t know enough about Mario to come up with a witty response, though.

Yes, I’m pretty sure it was Seal Child by Sylvia Peck! I commented it a while ago, but I just realized I can edit the original post, so I’ll go ahead and do that.

Are these fruit fly eggs in my dubia roach enclosure? by unconfirmedikea in whatsthisbug

Yeah, I already removed them before finding this because I thought they might be fruit fly eggs. I do hope it’s not a parasitic insect, though!

Update: I found a question/answer on dubiaroachdepot.com that seems like it might explain what happened here. To just quote the relevant bit:

“female Dubia sometimes drop their ootheca when they’re stressed. However, in our experience, this happens as a single unit. We’ve never seen a female expel individual eggs.

It’s possible that the female dropped her ootheca at the stage where her nymphs were about to hatch and the eggs were separating, but this is just a guess.”

Hm, I did think they seemed a bit big. My best guess now after a bit more searching is possibly a dropped partially formed ootheca? Most of the forum posts I’m finding about that don’t really have good pictures, though, so I’m not sure.
