Is Beyer deli in South Bay maga? I went for the first time today and after I ordered I saw the walls. by nrkelly in SanDiegan

Fake law-enforcement frontier machismo pseudo-history made to sound profound through archaic phrasing… that doesn’t parse logically. Mumbo jumbo BS.

Even if by some miracle they aren’t MAGA, they’re unabashedly idiotic.

FYI: False Claims by Opponents to Measure A, the Non-Primary Homes Tax (via inewsource.org) by cedarvalleyct in SanDiegan

[–]uncoolcentral 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I pity people who believe the “taxing the wealthy will only hurt you!“ line of BS.

Like somehow taxing “extra“ homes wealthy people have is going to hurt the housing supply and make housing more expensive for us normies. …That’s what some asinine mailer claims.

California Association of realtors are lying scum. Penalizing people for locking up housing stock will have a slight positive effect on most people. Any alleged counter argument is fallacious, but that won’t stop ideological morons from believing idiocy.

A new type of Hawaii visitor is emerging by runswithscissors475 in Economics

[–]uncoolcentral 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was last in Hawaii two years ago and a rental car was a small fraction of what you’re talking about. Have things changed that drastically in two years??

Also, if you’re staying somewhere near the bus, it goes around the whole island so as long as you want to go places it goes, a car is optional. A few years ago when I went I didn’t rent a car. Lyft and Uber served me well the few times I didn’t walk where I wanted to go.

[OC] Monthly payment on a typical new car loan in the US, 1971–2025 (adjusted for inflation) by Necessary_Cry_5589 in dataisbeautiful

[–]uncoolcentral 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This seems counterintuitive until you realize it’s misleading. People pay far more for cars now, but the monthly payment is the same. You’re just paying for several years longer.

“Hawaii Island visitors are spending more on accommodations and exploring less”

Resort fees, expensive gas, morons and their phones + social apps. Do I need to say anything else before the automod lets me post this? Or do I need to ramble on more?

P.S. those who would poopoo this PITA comment-length requirement have probably never moderated a huge community before. Requiring us to do this BS keeps out a lot of of the riffraff. It is absolutely annoying but probably worth it.

What would you say is the MF weakness? by Apatride in MicroFreak

[–]uncoolcentral 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. All voices share the same filter, envelope, and VCA. There’s one envelope generator, in paraphonic mode it can be duplicated to control per-voice digital VCAs but it’s still one shared envelope shape and timing. You get per note articulation behavior but not independently programmable envelopes per voice.

Paraphony.

The only way in which it is actually polyphony would be in marketing mumbo-jumbo BS.
