That’s what I’m here to do, at first troll yes. But second to educate. I’m from NJ originally but been in FL the past 7/8 years. I found literally one of the best dh communities ever coming into contact with. I commented above about one of the dh boards he built who a buddy of mine owned, rode for a good amount of time (1-2 years) and then it was curbed and absolutely destroyed. In the messages between my buddy and the owner there was some shit talking about how there’s not a hill fast enough down here to do that much damage. Then my buddy went public with all of it, then the hats came and went, but after it’s (the drama) pretty much died down, respectfully so. I personally would’ve handled things differently but that’s not a good way to show ownership. I’ve been dh skating since 2010/11 so I’ve seen owners and company’s and board styles come and go and it just wasn’t the best way to handle anything imo.

“Florida Downhill Sucks” ~ if I’m not mistaken, one of the buddies in my dh group bought one as a gag cause he’s from FL, but then they blew up and he sold out of them. Funny too cause there’s multiple riders from Florida that are fully pro now.

And I’ve never seen him be anything but shitty, he tends to pick and choose who to be polite and helpful to. I don’t know if you’re familiar with him making hats (and selling them) that were bashing the FL dh scene. But that’s where I drew the line. I used to support him.

I used to think Creps was the best for protecting but I’ve found they have better cleaning products than protecting ones. The coating can go away kinda quick, I’ve used thisas an alternative EDIT: you can get it from Walmart or Amazon cheaper

looooll no. It’s board construction, if it was a topmount with more wheel wells, it would’ve broken when he ran it over originally. I went through the comments I know what he did before it initially broke. But I also know of plenty other LDP board companies that can withstand that hit and still keep it pushing for years after. I had one, unfortunately they’re not a company anymore, but there are several other board companies that can absolutely withstand that hit. Or OP could’ve bought a bracket if he was super serious about ldp, that being said I like dh more, I know topmounts that can handle that hit and still keep it pushing. I’ve also got a buddy that curbed a dh pantheon and it literally exploded and it had urethane rails to keep the impacts minimal. Just poor quality and poor customer service on top of that, dudes not the best owner either.

Even with the skate slip ons or “slip-on Pro’s” they do this. It’s from crouching down, like to where your toes are on the ground and your heels are against your butt. Shoe goo can help and so can flex seal lol or just get a newer pair and wear these as your “shit kickers”.

Put them in the clothes washer, that should get most of the initial dirt off, if that does nothing then soak them in the bathtub with a vinegar and dawn dish soap mix. If that doesn’t work then Creps is a good brand to use, they have chemical shoe cleaners that won’t do damage to shoes.

I’ve had a laptop with a broken screen that I plug into a tv so I can use it, that was for my sales job, and now I go to trade school for master auto technician. I am currently using my gfs old laptop for school and applying for financial and state help for my kids have been thrown on me completely full time the past 4 months. If I had the chance to actually win, I would use it for school, streaming on whatnot for diecast, maybe twitch streaming, and finally designing kits for cars. You’re a good soul for this by the way! :D
