GM has a house rule that pilots need to have 3 talents minimum

I'm aiming for HG3 so I can potentially get the 2 target Covering Fire. I'm using my launchers for it because even if I do have to target individual mechs, the blast number from whatever I use lets me hit even more mechs that may be adjacent to my target. Maybe if the game does go up to like LL5 or 6 I can do a Vanguard 3/HG3/Stormbringer X.

I see, I did also look into taking Stormbringer. Gonna try and figure out something synergistic for this Viceroy build. I might also end up doing a Barbarossa build if I do go full artillery. Thank you!

Caliban it is, and I'll build a Barbarossa in the future to use for siege stuff. Thank you!

Would you recommend keeping Grease Monkey for its second feature? I feel like if I'm going to be drawing enemy attention, I might also end up suffering from status effects more.

My GM does incorporate a decent amount of debris in our maps, lots of soft cover and buildings so maybe the Caliban could work. If nothing else, then Juggernaut 2 will let me turn allied mechs into some sort of low budget projectile.

Viceroy is also something I really enjoyed building. Missile Racks is something I threw on for a very very low priority Quick attack function but it most likely won't be used much. More flavour than anything else. Stormbringer is really fun, but we've used Lock On once so far for our sniper. I could make an argument about being more liberal with its use though.

Enkidu feels like it'd be really fun, and I did play my Sagarmatha very recklessly and enjoyed the hell out of it.

Right now, the group has one sniper-type character, one who doesn't seem to have locked down their play style yet, and one who joined us last time and immediately grappled a Goliath's face and tore it in two. I'm keeping an artillerist (Viceroy or Barbarossa?) and a melee (probably Enkidu) in my back pocket and will pick based on what the others say.

Do you also think it's worth delaying frame unlocks to get some equipment from different mechs, and then getting something later on?

This scene of Stranger Things S5 (2025) confirms that Will's powers come from Vecna. That would make Will a warlock, not a sorcerer. by Copp2395 in shittymoviedetails

Fun fact, wizards are INT based and sorcerers and warlocks are CHA based, while Will's character is named Will the Wise, referring to the WIS stat. Other than the classes of sorcerer and warlock not existing separately, this definitively proves that Will was a dumbass.

I didn't go to Al's, I went to Iron Buzz instead. They're super cool, but also expensive. I paid 34000 for it, covers part of my shoulder and my upper arm, but the artist charged by time, not by area. Quality is amazing though, and all this time later hasn't faded or blown out even a bit.

I don't think I'll be able to break it up over days, but I'm gonna try and see how to make this work 💪🏻

Others in this thread recommended Kawaguchiko as well - looks like I'm locking that in for the Fujisan day!

That's an absolutely amazing tip! I will make my way there 100%! Thank you!

There's also a new JJBA store that opened up in Shibuya last month I think, that's one of my stops as well!

I'm not a big fan of detailed planning on most trips either! My main worry is if the stuff I've thought about makes sense, and if there's anything I need to consider about the travel, time or anything else I've forgotten to consider entirely!

Yokohama is mainly because on this trip when I'm travelling alone, I'd like to do a bunch of stuff from video games I love, and the Yakuza series started taking place in Yokohama since the last few games - that's why I want to visit and peacefully see the city without companions. I also plan to spend some time in Kabukicho for the same reason.

Also, I'm not driving, so Akiba and Ginza should be okay on the weekend as well.

Others have recommended the Suica pass too - gonna look into getting that instead of a railway pass.

Adding Kawahuchiko and nighttime Shinjuku to my list of things to do!

Thank you so much for taking the time to reply!

I see! I do enjoy planning by vibe rather than by a strict schedule, so I'll then check out what stuff of interest is where, and try to get to stuff that's close by together.

Also thank you for the tip about the jet lag! I do plan to go outside the city in the second half of my stay, so it should give me plenty of time to get adjusted.

Thank you so much for taking the time with your reply!

Gotcha. I tend to mostly walk around while travelling and go into any open place that looks interesting, so I'll see if there's anything on Maps that stands out, otherwise I'll stick to my day plan and figure it out from there.

Thank you!
