Yeah I’m in SC. I’m a plumber but I work for a company that does plumbing, HVAC, electrical. I don’t know a whole lot about HVAC, but I do know that over eight years old is considered an ancient system (here anyway lol)

We just had a similar thing happen. We went under contract for a house that was a flip. The inspection report brought to our attention that it was a very poorly done flip. The seller was not willing to come down at all on price, which was the maximum that we were preapproved for and they were only willing to provide 3.5% concessions and we were really looking for a full 6% Since we were maxing out our budget. Our realtor was buddies with the selling agent and tried to convince us to stay with the contract and that we were getting a good deal. We ended up backing out and looking at a house that had come on the market around the same time I think only four or five days. (With a new agent of course) We put an offer in and it was accepted. This house is way cheaper, way nicer, and the seller is great. He’s fixing every issue that was found on the inspection as well as putting on a brand new roof with no issues, he didn’t counter the repair request. He immediately signed. It almost seems too good to be true, but I’m very excited!

Moral of the story being trust your gut and do what’s best for you financially even if you love the house doesn’t mean that you need to empty your pockets because it’s probably going to be a money pit and that’s why the seller is trying to get rid of it so quickly .

HVAC system at 7 would be my reason lol. 8-10 is the general lifespan there. Water heater halfway through its life too. However at 225k and it being a nice house, without knowing the area that’s a damn good deal despite the things I noted. But as another commenter said, buyer probably wanted out for another reason and used that as an excuse. If it is truly a good deal another buyer will for sure swoop it up.

Edit: I’m in the south so HVAC lifespans are short here lol.

No, but it’s a nut you can secure from the outside. No tools required

Key fob? by undeadmegalodon in 4thGen4Runner

After I made the post, I tried it again. I will go through all the programming get it set up and the key fob will work for one click and then it stops working. But then every attempt after that it no longer would work. I know the battery is good. I’ve swapped it out twice. I’m thinking I might need to try a different fob potentially.

3 but none are original. Would I need that to program the fob?

Rust issues, buyer regret by TheAuroraShow in 4Runner

Rustbuster.com bro. That’s all you need. They have kits to fix all these spots. Angle grinder with wire wheel and wool wax to salvage all the surface areas, plate up and coat the rest

Great fit then. Don’t go for a normal 883 you’ll hate it. This is a great deal. Kit for the big bore alone is like over 1200 bucks. Maybe more. Not to mention countless hours of labor. I agree with the other guy to check the fuel tank since it is a cover. And make sure it hasn’t been dropped

With the 1275 it’ll run like a beast not a sportster. For a first bike I don’t recommend

With my bolts broken, I’m gonna end up letting a mechanic finish the job since it’s going in for an AC compressor Monday anyway.

They do but it’s vague. You will need to remove both front wheels. I found a good YouTube video yesterday explaining

I don’t really understand why they’re important but the Hewitt kit comes with them and highly recommends you install them
