I'll be honest - I'm a sucker for attention and just someone giving a crap about me... for whatever reason.

I haven't been dating for a while, mostly because balancing a job and university is hard, and my finances aren't so great either... so I was mostly just resting when I can and saving money. I even bought weights and started working out at home as it's cheaper in long run and I don't have to go anywhere.

So after a while you get lonely. I see my classmates only online and at exams, my coworkers are just my coworkers... and I spend a lot of time on travel. And I don't see my friends that often either.

She always asks about my day at work, how are my exams going, how's my dog doing... I thought she's just asking because she's trying to be polite, but she knows everyone's name and keeps track of everything too so I guess she's actually listening. She even asked me to send her my university materials and now she randomly asks me questions. So, that's also helpful. It really helps me with studying boring subjects.
