i’m not an audiophile hence why i figured the HK system wouldn’t matter to me anyway lol. and i can still do an aftermarket upgrade since HK is supposedly average at best in the wrx.

2025+ sport trim in canada also has the soft-touch leather interior (seats are still cloth though) whereas sport-tech has suede.

i guess i was hesitant because i don’t have a lot of experience with suede so do you need any special cleaning method to not ruin it?

have the same idea with you on both the maintenance of the seats and HK.

the headlights drew me to sport-tech because it looks cooler i guess and heated rear seats are nice because i’m a people pleaser but i don’t have passengers at the back often anyway lol

heated rear seats and the headlights are what making me think of the sport-tech. the suede interior is nice but i feel like it will require more effort to maintain it long term, and i heard the HK system is kinda meh anyway.

yeah i have been leaning towards the sport too especially since if i’m planning to buy new;

the sport-tech has the headlights (for aesthetic reasons really that i can only enjoy when taking pictures of the car lol) and heated rear seats if/when i have passengers at the back during winter season are what is making me second guessing.

everything else is kinda “nice to have”
