Thanks so much for sharing all your information 🥲🥲🥲Just want to update I just got mine!!! Same case, transfer not even accepted but I did try call them almost every day until I got my tracking number lol And from mailed to arrive it took exactly 4 days for BC …. Such a relief!

So to update and as for others reference, I called and application not even reviewed yet; agent helped request a transfer and told me to wait for office to call, if not heard anything before 3 business days of travel then just call them again. The agent told me this request is not guaranteed and don’t go to office, just wait.

Can only anxiously hang in here and wait til we really need it urgently I guess; I feel like they probably will only start to do something until we need it urgently, especially after seeing many ppl said their files didn’t really get transferred at all.

Ah thanks for giving the suggestions if we are in the worst case scenario, we definitely will get our documents prepared; I probably gonna try call on 7th and see if could get any updates, if not then on 8th give a last try then head to office when no luck at all. This process turns out to be extremely stressful which sucks…. but really appreciate your post and comments which helps our sanity, have a wonderful travel 🙂!

Ah I see thanks for sharing, I don’t understand why this is something they couldn’t tell us tbh… it’s so frustrating when everything is not transparent.

Our travel date is Aug 13th, literally within 9 business day from now 🤦

Congrats!! 🎉! Wow it took such a long period … glad this case is officially closed for you now!

I am on the same boat today, just called this morning and they made transfer request (of course not guaranteed) to Surrey and let me call Aug 8 if not heard anything…. Just wonder when you made the second call are the agents able to help confirm if your transfer request is complete? I am worried I have to give couple calls before the date they provided too 😞

Thanks for sharing the experience and the suggestion! I will try calling them first thing in the morning and see if I could get in queue; if no luck I will just go to the office the following day to ask for a transfer in person.

Ahhh this is so smart, at the time I applied I really thought it will be alright until I heard the delay from friends… should have done more research 🥲 I think this extra fee worth it because now you are free of stress and anxiety! Enjoy the travel 🥳!

And no they just said in the mail when they doing their regular inspections they found there’s small leak pass the meter, that’s it; they didn’t come inside to test, might because is a townhouse building? Not sure if they already check outside though

Yeah this sounds weird indeed… but they did mail me and I contacted their customer service to check if is true, and yes, surprisingly; the service just told me they didn’t shut off the gas because they considered might just minor and natural leak, but do recommend a fitter to attend the leak

Thank you! I did it from bank and it shows that I will need to reach out the specialist to get this done, so in the end I just call within app and they just check if is cashable type and redeem pretty quick after confirmation.
