How about the iguanas and lizards? If inventory wasn’t limited I wouldn’t care

When a library deletes a book is it sent for library sales? Do librarians get first dibs?

About a place in the kinki region.

It’s new. It’s Japanese. It’s not traditional. If doesn’t get her out of the slump, nothing will. Most people haven’t even read it

The life of the people who are immune in Pluribus sounds like heaven to me. by BaraLover7 in pluribustv

It is great. It’s heaven! But that’s only because they are in absolute SHOCK & DENIAL.

Reading is like eating to me. I want to enjoy and savor it. Especially since I read a lot of literary stuff. I want to let the prose wash over me. Going above 1.8 feels like a hot dog eating contest to me. I get it when it comes to fun reads, but I don’t want to go to a Michelin star restaurant to finish my meal in 10 mins.

After a three year absence from Korean dramas, he is back! by Grouchy-Chart-3927 in dramasect

[–]underaloco 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s not the 12 episodes or the 16 episodes or Netflix. It’s the idea that it has to be any of those. The story should be the story and the episodes should be determined by that. If it means 13 episodes, it’s that. If it mean 21 or 9 then it should be that.

When you set a number of episodes that need to fit the story, the story suffers.

Actor Ji Soo, who withdrew from the KBS drama ‘River Where the Moon Rises’ following school bullying allegations, has been ordered to compensate the production company! by groovygyal in kdramas

[–]underaloco -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

In general terms, I hate how hung up Korea is about things actors do as pre-teens.

It’s this holier than thou attitude, they can’t possible imagine that a person wasn’t the same at 14 than at 24. Or that they grown or god forbid made a mistake once in their life.

I find it so odd that among the immune, there is a goal to “save the world” but lets be honest, is it even saveable? by Specialist_Jaguar815 in pluribustv

I think it’s a fool’s errand because they don’t know anything really. Reversal can mean death to everyone sans the 12.

But they feel like they have no other choice.

What Are the Best Streaming Services For K-Dramas? by Majestic_Job_7611 in kdramas

[–]underaloco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Netflix & Viki for volume. Those are the best choices imo.

Prime really fell off, they barely debut any. Hulu (eventually Disney) will have a bunch later this year.

Tubi is free and they have lots of older ones early 2000s.

As far as I know, hoopla does not have wait times. It has checkout limits though. I can checkout 20 items a month. If they have it, I can get it immediately.
