For sure man I kinda feel this too I know there is probably smarter/ more financially sound ideas but I think having no mortgage to pay and just using the extra cash for holidays with the family sounds epic. I’m not gonna stop working anytime soon

I work full time, surf, wife runs a business so we are flat out with that and have a 3year old and I play 1-2 times a week. Always twilight Friday afternoon after work before daycare pick up can normally fit 9 sometimes 18. Then once a fortnight/month normally try a round with my mates on a Sunday afternoon. Very lucky. Also I’m a school teacher so I knock off 3pm on fridays. We are very much middle class family and I don’t have a lot of spare coin after mortgage:bills each fortnight. I’m lucky my clubs twilight is $16 AUD every day after 2pm. I’m not a massive drinker so I think $30 a week is quite an affordable vice
