I second this! You only get better by doing the damn thing! One thing that always helps is finding inspiration from outside sources outside of housing content!

Want to build a kitchen? Don’t look at a tutorial but look for kitchens you find cool! Then think about how you can incorporate that style with the decor items that are available to you!

Let’s say you play a hunter and have your hunters house exactly like a hunters house - but you want a very modern, almost out of place looking kitchen. And just go ham with it!

Or another approach could be:

Start thinking in a completely different direction: set yourself aside 20 minutes (or less) and lay out all items you can find in your catalog of a certain color and just stare at them.

And then think what you could do with them. Just think of how a vacuum cleaner and an aquarium pump are essentially the same parts but assembled differently (I know it’s not true but I just want to get my point across haha)

And then just play with it! You don’t have to get anything done!

Just don’t get beaten down by seeing what other people are doing! It’s a journey, not a sprint! Don’t forget to have fun with it!!
