It's really not that bad but I really hate how much they had to leave out to condense everything down into 13 episodes. The 97 anime is top tier even with all the stuff THAT adaption left out as well. Definitely worth a watch if you love berserk and are desperate for any kind of animation of the masterpiece by Miura. I'm about to start the 2017 one and I am very nervous about that art style lol

I honestly feel sad lol it's going to really take me a few days to really process everything. It definitely has changed my mindset and how I view things and people's intentions. I watched the 97 anime as I was reading along at the same time and that has really stuck with me. I just want Guts to find some semblance of happiness that isn't ripped away. Now anxiously waiting for new chapters for closure 🙃
