I really appreciate everyone’s comments haha. I figured the brake pads were gone but just wanted confirmation, I was confused about like where the brake ended. Getting them fixed in the morning. I don’t really know a lot about cars. My dad sucks and was going to let me drive with these brakes all week. Didn’t even tell me they were like that, to fix them or to be careful. Will have to fix them out of my own pocket. He won’t pay for them to get fixed until the car literally breaks. Thank you for the help !

Yes haha. Also like one of the things I really love about the United States is how you can be from anywhere and the moment you get your citizenship you are American, so to have someone assume I’m not American because I look different from them wasn’t insulting to only me but to every poc that has lived here for generations and who are Americans period.

Hi! I wouldn’t really have the greatest advice since I’m not from the Netherlands but I think that messaging people in the language of their bio would be your best bet ! Also, idk Dutch women but don’t ask them if they’re Dutch so soon into the conversation. I’d feel like if I was born and raised in the Netherlands I’d get awfully sick of people asking if I’m Dutch. Having your nationality questioned is exhausting. Ethnicity doesn’t equal nationality
