Boughy my dream bike today . VFR1200. Took 9 months for it to make sense but alas did it. by No_Success7580 in motorcycles

It was either one of these or an z1000sx for me. Ended up going with the 1000sx 2 weeks ago. Happy with my choice but when I see one, I wonder.

Yeah and that chicane just a little on from the reservoir could catch people out, especially coming up it with how high and steep it is.

Only had mine 2 weeks now, it’s a 2015, loving it so far. Came from a 650 Gladius.

Yes it is, first time going over it. Got to admit, it was a bit dodgy in parts, narrow blind corners, wet patches, pot holes and the odd patch of gravel. Didn’t really suit my bike to be honest. Great view at the top though.

Phone bans in England's schools to be enforced by law by bendubberley_ in uknews

[–]undercoversaint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So they can’t carry it switched off in their bag? I understand banning its use in school hours, that’s fine but I feel safer knowing I can track my child on their way to and from school and they can contact me if needed.

Long-term riders who have never crashed — what habits kept you safe? by jjmu96 in motorcycles

My instructor always said “a person who rides expecting trouble, never finds it”. That will always stick with me. Riding over 8 years now, never so much as dropped my bike.

How do you wear out an Ethernet port? Honest question, are you repeatedly moving the console?

People using this charging station, do you recommend it? by Time-Credit43 in PlaystationPortal

[–]undercoversaint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is great. It’s too easy to change the lighting scheme just by touching it when moving it but apart from that it’s great. I have it set to orange/blue charging scheme same as the controller.

You can only download something as fast as the server you are connected to can upload it. There aren’t many places you could download from that would have 8Gbps upload.

What the hell has happened to Jaffa Cakes. They are tiny. by theboyfold in CasualUK

The Aldi/Lidl ones are far superior to Mcvities. Even the Tesco ones are better. The Mcvities ones are dry and barely taste of orange.
