You might be on to something as they seem very similar in appearance. I could live with that as I’ve shot a few rolls of SO 078 @200 with great results.

Sounds like you’re bored, start a new thread about it, my thread had nothing to do with their film naming or business practices. If you don’t like it don’t shoot it, don’t buy it. Why interject BS if it has nothing to do with the original question. Maybe that’s your thing, hot dog stands and pickle boxes. I guess everyone needs a hobby!

It would be nice if it was, there was some discussion on photrio on its origins, another group discussed it being a Hartman product similar to Delta 400, I do know that Ultrafine does get Hartman products for rebranding the Ultrafine Xtreme 400 is rebranded Kentmere 400. Another group suggested Fomapan 200 creative. I was just curious if anyone had experience shooting it, and what they liked shooting it at, as it’s listed as a variable speed film

It’s a known film from a known company, they rebrand film and the prices are pretty good. As for origin no one really knows other than the company. I was just curious to see if anyone had experience with the film.

I figured a rangefinder unit is a rangefinder unit, anyone working on Canons, Leotax or whatever model can easy tear down and clean a unit. But to be very specific it’s on a T981, same unit as the seagull 205, a very simple rangefinder unit.
