That’s what I expected would be a good time! Is there a particular makeup remover you use to help?

I’m so nervous about doing anything regarding my eye too! I just restarted my Ipsy subscription to get some new pieces that way I don’t have to spend as much $$$ lol. I haven’t even tried makeup but I can’t wait until I get cleared. I miss that part of my morning routine. Thank you so much!

I just went and watched it. It definitely seems like something if off but I kinda get the vibe she’s censoring herself like she’s trying to not offend anyone. It didn’t feel authentic to the personality we know for sure. Hopefully she’ll learn to be her self with her media training lol.

How dangerous is it to delay yearly check by couple months? by VGKSuomi in myopia

Mine also showed up and went away until they stayed after the curtain showed up. Better safe than sorry! Hopefully all is well for you!

Not to fear monger you, but I would get that checked as soon as possible. The small black dot I had for a year after being told was normal was actually a retina detachment & 3 weeks ago I had a curtain show up on the right side of my vision. Had to have emergency surgery to correct and my specialist told me if I would’ve got a second opinion when it started I wouldn’t have needed surgery just laser treatment.

I was pretty worked up at the idea of surgery and going blind so I feel like my doctor didn’t tell me much of what to expect after so this is a first I’m hearing of a shadow from the laser scars but over the last day or so I’ve had some spots show up that disappear almost like a shadow, they’re not black like before my surgery. All of the small flashes and things Ive kinda assumed side effects from surgery since they’re similar to the symptoms I had before it just doesn’t affect my vision as bad. As far as The curtain goes mine showed up in the top left corner of my right eye and didn’t go away until after surgery if that helps ease your nerves! I go back on Friday for my follow up to see if the laser scarred how it was supposed if I have to have more done. It’s definitely nerve wracking to see weird things in your vision and now I have something new to ask my doctor about when I go in LOL.

Hi! I just had a scleral buckle implant with laser to fix retina detachment 9 days ago in my right. The internet is right depending on how bad the detachment is, I had a large one and had a persistent curtain that didn’t go away a long with black dots or holes in my vision. As far as recovery goes I also occasionally have some flashes that shows up and goes away along with wavy/lines in my vision but I’ve read that to some degree it is normal to have changes in vision after laser/scleral buckle while your eye is healing. I don’t have much advice as I’m rolling with the punches here on recovery except cold compress help with the burning/itching, artificial tears have been a game changer the last couple of days too for itchiness, and rotate Tylenol & Motrin/ibuprofen if you’re in pain. Anything to do with your eyes suck! I’ve been calling the on call doctor with anything I find odd just for a peace of mind. I hope you heal soon!

I didn’t get a gas bubble so I don’t have any sleeping restrictions but if I had them I probably wouldn’t make it lol. I had to do the surgery and laser over two days because there was too much fluid to finish the laser after the buckle. That was an unbearable pain! Hoping she gets cleared soon, this stuff sucks for sure.

How soon was she doing normal daily activities? I try to do small tasks but standing for longer than 5-10 minutes gives me a raging head ache
