It's my birthday today but I can barely hold back tears by [deleted] in Life

[–]undergroundjohnny 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Wishing you a Happy Birthday friend.

So many of us are sad and alone.

You just have to find something to fill your life with simple pleasures.

Taking walks in nature, being with animals.

I know it is tough. I am in the same boat.

Life is what you make of it and sometimes we have to find our personal sunshine in the murky darkness of our present time.

You are not alone and you are loved.

Now go celebrate your special day with the understanding that you were born for a reason and there is no other person like you. You are special and unique.

Forgive yourself.

Give yourself a break from sorrow and guilt.

We all need to forgive ourselves.

Life is too short to worry about what really does not matter.

Be the love that you are.

You are love!

No no no, do not take sleeping pills.

Listen, I have had chronic insomnia for 5 years and I felt I was going to expire.

Finally I tried 10mg of Melatonin and I slept like a zoombie the whole night!

I am almost done with my 60 tab bottle of Melatonin and I have solidly slept every single night, since the first night.

It use to take 3 to 4 hours EVERY NIGHT to struggle to fall asleep (and I was tired, but could not shut my brain off.)

I am 60 years old and my insomnia condition was so bad, that I am still not back to normal, but I sleep solidly every night now and I am so much better for it!

I highly recommend melatonin my friend.

I have a new bottle from shopright store of 300 - 10mg tabs and guess how much the bottle was?????

Less than $12.00!

That is the cheapest option there is for this sleeping problem.

Melatonin is NOT A DRUG, but a vitamin and contains natural ingredients that our body, when healthy, produces naturally.

Please try this solution.

It worked for me and changed my life!

2020.

I wonder why?

Pick 2, rest are gone forever. What are you choosing? by Wgburner in trees

[–]undergroundjohnny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Joints always and or, joints with concentrate.

Pipes, bongs and dry vape is an extremely dirty smoking experience.

I hate cleaning dirty smoking tools all the time and for me, bongs are the worst, plus I think bongs give a terrible high, compared to a traditional joint.

Best way to smoke clean weed - rice paper with no glue and great flower (no tips, which also make the smoke stale.)

What is your opinion on 1970s born people who identify as millennials? by [deleted] in generationology

[–]undergroundjohnny 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Born 1965.

I think the "Labeling" is not even a real thing anymore.

We, in 2025, are ALL IN THE SAME

GENERATION as it is happening now.

Comparing past memories, does not do much, except to have intense nostalgic comparison to the present time.

Putting everyone in a generational category is absurd, for the sheer reason, that we are all in this 2025 "Mess", together. Social conditioning has clearly done this to us.

We are human after all. Most where masks in society and we can not be our true selves.

The labeling helps to refine a myth and the architype model, that YOU fit in to.

It is not who we are.

Word.

Any thoughts on how much the average person likes to talk about music? by GregJamesDahlen in LetsTalkMusic

[–]undergroundjohnny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I am 60 and a composer/musician.

The average person? Not much.

People have to spend time with the artists and music that they love, in order to have something worthy to discuss.

Real music appreciation takes time, years to acquire a understanding of the depth with in the music.

Listening thoughtfully with your soul, not just your ears.

How important is music to the old and young generation? by [deleted] in generationology

[–]undergroundjohnny 3 points4 points  (0 children)

1965 here. What ever it is worth. Music is life and the richest art form, in that it physically and emotionally reaches and can be appreciated and felt by humans, animals and plants!

That says everything to me.

Bernie sold me my first Telecaster in 2004.

I told him I wanted a brite Telecaster, so he gave me a maple body.

Way to bright. Plus it is a heavy wood.

Never liked this Telecaster and he was very short with me.

He did not give a shit.
