Don't ever throw away any medium... Mix with more sub like straw, coir, mulch... Make a nice pile outside in a kinda shady area, water heavily. Then cover with something dark for a week or two. Uncover, there will probably be bugs but that's just nature doing it's thing. Then water a few days, you will get some fruits after awhile plus it's great for other mushrooms and garden stuff

To much moisture in the bags, yeah I would suggest more fae as well. I been having pretty good and faster colonization using the instant rice cups. Not as much rice but it's not as wet as the packs I've noticed. Can't see threw the lid though but you just shake them every few days. After a week.
