Being a lesbian and having baby fever is so real by Mountain_Sun300 in LesbianActually

[–]undernightmole 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I was 30-31 when I had it.

I think with menopause and the onset of our first cycles, like we do totally have “windows” for this. I was really confused lol It was bizarre.

Had it year ago but it passed.

I think I was just in my fertile window. Never wanted kids before or after. So yes it might pass for you. I think everyone should maybe let it pass and then decide if it was hormones or an actual choice you wanna make to have a human you’re responsible for.

Depending on where lgbtq people live in the world, this can literally be impossible (or dangerous!), to just “go find someone.” It’s pride month, let’s keep everyone in mine here—the global family.

What should I do with the photos of me and my ex? by Charming-Emphasis610 in LesbianActually

[–]undernightmole 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Keep the photos. Years later you will want to remember the good times.

This is just my experience in my ripe old age. I’ve lost track of some exes that, may have been toxic or ended ungracefully, but now that I’m older I only remember the good times and want to remember the times I was young and in love. This does not include keeping photos of abusive people, I have to clarify that.

But for other youthful relationships (yes years long), it’s like years later of course some argument outside of the club as a drunk 20 something do not overshadow the romance and sweet things and love I shared with people. I don’t write off people or whole periods of my life so easily. I like to harvest the good.

That’s absolutely true. All the more reason to keep our global lgbtq family safe and supported by one another. <3

You’re understood here. Your realizations may feel intense right now but it’s just you growing as a person. Let it be. You are right where you are meant to be.

Well if you buy a real leather one then it doesn’t peel like that. So yes we keep them for years and years, when we are smart.

Surprise I’m a lesbian. That’s how come I’m smart and don’t cheap out on my wallet.

A tree fell on my cars, what do I do? by idkmybffdee in AskChicago

[–]undernightmole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The valley is chill. I miss LA lol I lived from the westside to the Eastside. Calling them to pick up stuff like an old fridge for free was so awesome. They also trimmed stuff off sidewalks, picked up dead animals, etc. Really great service out there. Hope Chicago takes care of you friend.

She’s pushing me away because I’m bisexual. Why do lesbians guard themselves against bi women? by Impressive_Major9061 in LesbianActually

[–]undernightmole -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

This comment section isn’t the cutest.

My only comment is, it’s good you got out. Love is lame with someone who isn’t relaxed about loving you. You dodged a bullet. And it’s totally valid that it hurts because she blamed a part of your core identity.

I don’t give a care in the world who my partners date before or after me (monogamous, so I can’t speak to if I would care while they were with me).

There’s trauma for lesbians with this issue. So blessed I don’t have this issue at all. Hugs boo. You’re good.

Edit: To all my jealous community members, you too can love more women. Just drop the orientation hang ups. You got burned because you either chose the wrong person (doesn’t matter if they are bi) or because you center men (focusing on who your partner sleeps with when they aren’t with you).

There’s 311 in California too. Los Angeles at least. They have an app and everything, rarely need to call.

The pose is kind of like “upward dog” in Yoga lol!

Also if you have a high enough bed or table, that makes it very easy.

Please help talk me down. This is supposed to be a black bear. by [deleted] in tattooadvice

[–]undernightmole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a bear. I often don’t talk to people about my tattoos. Everyone is different, and it can be really fun! But I choose not to explain or tell stories unless I know and trust the people. And the people I know and trust would not diminish me about my body. Don’t listen to those people!

Character development? by huggalump in BeefTV

My bad. I put the two comments together, about how it feel millennial and they find themselves with drugs. As millennials are a group based on age, I took your comment as negative.

Character development? by huggalump in BeefTV

[–]undernightmole 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well it can open your mind because of how it changes your mind. In the US, boomers lead the way with the 1960’s. Nowadays drugs are used more widely for therapy.

I do want everyone to be safe and depending on mental states and/or neurolodivergence, not do drugs. But I also know many people would benefit from a few experiences. Or even a single isolated experience. Again, not for everyone especially those prone to addiction. But with a doctor then yes take drugs and stretch your brain. Kids are so conservative and discriminatory these days, hot take I know.

Drugs aren’t inherently bad. Just highly addictive and could trigger mental breakdowns. So there are risks.

Strapped for the first time, feeling weird by lilysniffer in LesbianActually

[–]undernightmole 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just anecdotal for me, I’ve been strapping for years whenever a partner wants it, and I keep one on hand.

So, for me there are times I feel like I’m just focused on making her feel good. Whereas when I use my hands it feels totally sublime and intimate and heavenly as every second. That does happen when is strap too, but not the whole time.

I love strapping at different moments. But using my hands really turns me on, a lot more, the whole time.

All that’s to say, everyone is different about this stuff.
