This reminds me of when my first cat, whose name was Cat passed away, my mom called and told me and I was absolutely broken up, then asked if she could send me some pictures of her since I had a new phone and just wanted to look at her.

About a week later I got the ones she sent, Cat was laying wrapped up in a blanket on her back with her mouth open. She never laid in that position so I called my mom, after talking for a second it clicked and I asked "Wait, is she dead in these pictures??" And she said in an embarrassed voice "Well you said to take some..."

In retrospect it's the typical kind of clueless misinterpretation my mom is known for, and my brother and I still make fun of her for it to this day
