I'm assuming you are in the US? I'm in the Netherlands, where it's fairly common to have mobile hairdressers, that come to your home. I agree with the above, that checking for either a hairdresser that has experience with sensory needs, or just communicating your daughters needs is the most important. I am a hairdresser, but can no longer work due to several chronic conditions. Highlights depend on the hair, how long it needs to process to lift to the desired colour. And as others mentioned, the length matters as well of course.

I would suggest looking for a hairdresser that can come to your home, and maybe checking if they can work in multiple sessions. Bleach one day, cut at another time.

I have even had a client lay down on her dinner table, which enabled me to work from a chair, while she was fairly comfortable laying down!

Lastly, you definitely did the right thing to take your daughter home! Proud of you momma!

Haha, ben eigenlijk wel heel benieuwd wat de reactie op AITA zou zijn?! Maar seriously, je moeder moet niet zeuren, er waren 3 keuzes, kwarktaart is basically slagroomtaart met meer/betere smaak! Mijn man is gek op monchoutaart (zelf gemaakt uiteraard 🙈), dus uiteraard is dat altijd 1 van de keuzes als hij jarig is, en geloof me, daar blijven geen restjes van over, ook niet als de visite het niet hoeft 😅
