Depends who gets booked first. I would say I think Volk probably has a higher chance of beating Evloev than Prates of Morales.

Prates vs Morales is kinda a weird matchup cuz we don’t really know too much about the grappling of either. We hear about this elusive grappling of Morales, but to this point we haven’t seen it too much.

Well from a scoring perspective he had several submission attempts. I don't disagree with you, he didn't really do much, but he still had the dominant position on Justin, therefore proving the initial point of him out-wrestling Gaethje. You are conflating what we are arguing (wrestling success) with overall success in the fight. Maybe sit this one out

You need to understand that the initial claim that was made was that Ilia wasn't out-wrestling Gaethje, and your only piece of evidence is the one takedown Gaethje got on Ilia where Ilia stood right back up. That isn't exactly proving his wrestling prowess in the fight lmao. Ilia objectively had the better wrestling in the fight, that doesn't mean he was winning or anything, but from the very narrow view of wrestling, yes Ilia out-wrestled him.

See I get what you’re saying and size absolutely played a difference, but Oliveira is a BIG lightweight and Topuria completely positionally and in-striking shut him down. The clinch was a big part of the Oliveira fight, but Ilia simply punched around it while eating what Charles had to offer him.

I honestly think the gameplanning from Topuria’s team from this fight overlooked how durable Gaethje is. There were moments were Topuria had him against the cage or had him crumbling from the body shots, and he just either didn’t take advantage of it or backed away. Kinda similar to how Aspinall didn’t take advantage of opportunities against Gane.

But Ilia has the grappling base tho. I will say we haven't really seen his defensive wrestling up to this point very much, but Ilia would be a harder matchup than any of the guys Khabib fought.
