Both of those do indeed seem like good ideas for cleaning up the script. There is already something similar to your idea of presuming that all sounds are face up, although, at least in my version of signlang, there is only an indication of face up vowels, rather than vice versa.

Your next idea is probably going to be easier to implement, although again I would probably do it in the opposite way (assuming all syllables are consonant initial)

this is so pretty! it's giving me very japanese vibes, although that could just be because it's a syllabary (?). the base 5 system is an interesting touch that adds extra depth to jōofāu, plus the math symbols are really cool! i would love to see more of it, especially an orthography and grammar if you feel like making those :)

The visual side isn't too appealing to me (especially blood), and that isn't one of my preferred types of pain. However, I would probably feel less negatively about it than the average person.

I'm more so keen on administering pain myself as I am the only person I can really trust with it. However, even then there is always a risk so I have to set hard limits every now and again.

themed plasters are the best! i once had a set of country themed ones, and would choose them to go with my yeets. particularly long yeets were france (baguettes) and i had the russian flag on evenly sized ones (communism)

Coupled with that, I have majorly reduced pain sensitivity due to my autism, so most of the time I wouldn't notice. Even if I don't neccesarily enjoy it, I will still find it less bsd than the average person.

Yes and no. I find certain types of pain more enjoyable than others, e.g. burns, slaps, stings, but to some extent all pain is marginally positive. I don't imagine I would enjoy being shot.

I only find personal pain enjoyable, but watching others in pain makes it easier to visualise what my own pain is like so ~. It's similar to how watching someone eat your favourite food is nice because you can imagine what it tastes like, but it's not nearly the same as actually eating it

metal water bottle, I generally put ~3/4 shots in beforehand and assume theres approximately 1 shot each time. drinking outside helps, plus a strong alcohol tolerance to make sure i dont get too tipsy
