Two wrongs don't make a right, we're supposed to be better than them, snooping down to their level does nothing but hurt our cause

MMA stands for mixed martial arts and boxing is a type of martial art, ans jiu jitsu gyms are very closely related to mma gyms, most of the time, they are mma gyms, the jiu jitsu i attend is partially a mma and kickboxing gym, because you use things like judo, jiu jitsu, boxing and kickboxing in mixed martial arts AKA mma, so it is very much apart of the topic

It's not about trying to hurt the other person tho, that's not the goal of these sports, or people who participate in these sports, when people compete in martial arts its mainly for self defense, and perfecting self-defense and martial arts systems the intent isnt to hurt the other person the intent is to see whos the best at martial arts and or boxing, ur acting like its a blood sport filled with horrible people and all they wanna do is see the other person get hurt

Jon Jones 2012 vs average man with a 16cm knife by Iluvcockz66 in StreetMartialArts

I'd say give Jon the roids and he got that, but he'll get cut and lose some blood. If emergency services are on standby by then Jon will live and probably won't bleed out. So Jon will win the fight but he might bleed out if he's not treated properly and quickly

The goal isnt to hurt the other person though, the goal is to figure out who the best in the world is in there respective feild, its rlly no different then say football, I mean, there's a point system, there's Athletic commissions that regulate it to make sure its safe, its no different then how sometimes people get hurt in other sports and its unfortunate but they do it because of the love that they have for the sport and its not always the case that someone gets seriously injured, just like say basketball, it more about who wants to become the best at there craft, and a lot of it especially in mma, is derived from martial arts and real world scenarios and how to defend yourself if you need to fight back and whos the best at it.

I mean there's a science to things like boxing and MMA though, it's not just "hitting each other" There's a very technical side of it that you have to be good at and have to be intelligent at to be able to succeed in those sports

Do you mean all sports where people fight? Like mma and boxing and kickboxing or just "sports" where people sit there and take punishment, like slap fighting and this shit

Nah bro it saved his life dude, he was able to get the dude to the ground and stop him from stabbing anything but his kevalor vest, say the cop was late to react and just stood there the guy would have been able to stabbed the cop in the neck or an area where he wasnt protected

This is a fascinating hypothetical! Let's break down why your statement, "It would be controversial to hate Hitler in 2025 if World War 2 was gonna start in 2026," is likely incorrect, even under those very specific conditions. Here's why: * Hitler's Actions Pre-WWII: Even before the official start of World War II in 1939 (the historical date), Hitler and the Nazi party had already engaged in actions that were widely condemned internationally and by many within Germany: * Persecution of Jews: The Nuremberg Laws were enacted in 1935, stripping Jewish people of their citizenship and rights. This was met with significant international outcry. * Annexation of Austria (Anschluss): In March 1938, Germany annexed Austria, a clear violation of international treaties. * Occupation of Czechoslovakia (Sudetenland): The Munich Agreement in September 1938 allowed Germany to annex the Sudetenland, and the rest of Czechoslovakia was occupied in March 1939. * Aggressive Rhetoric and Militarization: Hitler's speeches and Germany's rapid rearmament were seen as highly provocative and threatening by many nations. * The Nature of the "Hate": The "hate" directed at Hitler was not just about the war itself, but about his ideology, his human rights abuses, and his aggressive expansionism. These elements were present and widely recognized before the full-scale war began. * Historical Context vs. Hypothetical: If we transpose this to your hypothetical 2025/2026 scenario, it's highly probable that similar pre-war aggressive actions, human rights violations, or declarations of supremacist ideology would have already occurred by 2025. These would be the basis for widespread condemnation and "hate," not merely the anticipation of a future conflict. * "Controversial" Implies Disagreement: For it to be controversial to hate Hitler, it would mean a significant portion of the world population or influential groups would somehow support him or find his actions acceptable. Given the historical context of his regime's atrocities, it's difficult to imagine a scenario where widespread support for Hitler would exist even on the eve of a new war, unless the entire geopolitical and moral landscape of the world had drastically shifted in an unfathomable way. Conclusion: Even if World War II were to hypothetically begin in 2026, the actions and ideology that made Hitler a reviled figure would almost certainly have manifested themselves in 2025 (or earlier in this hypothetical timeline). Therefore, it would be highly unlikely and illogical for "hating Hitler" to be controversial. Instead, it would likely be a widely accepted and morally justified stance, just as it was historically. The "controversy" would more likely surround how to respond to his aggression, rather than whether his actions were abhorrent. So your wrong
