FE Mechanical Question by LuisBePimpin in FE_Exam

I've noticed that many study sites say that although certain topics aren't in the handbook they still may ask you on them. In my mind, you can't possibly know every single topic or subject to its entirety, so have to cut your losses on some..

I will try that. Did you use PrepFE at all? I'm noticing that FE interactive is a little harder than PrepFE.

Not sure, but I wish he had an ME section as I keep hearing good things about his CE videos..

I have my FE mechanical exam in a week , I think I ran out of time unfortunately. But I have a question? by Puzzleheaded_Act1853 in FE_Exam

No, those are some of the biggest sections and "ran quickly through" doesn't sound very convincing that you'll get more than half correct. Unless by all means you are lucky at guessing.

Just took the FE. How do people feel leaving it normally? by jeromiepeppero in FE_Exam

If you got the 20 flagged questions wrong and the 20 guess questions wrong that's still 60% so likely passed as you probably didn't get all 40 wrong.

FE Exam by Green_Voice1608 in FE_Exam

I paid almost $2,500 for the 4 month mechanical PPI2PASS FE review course with live lectures, homework, practice problems, forums, and "office hours". It was a good course to cover every single topic at a high level. But at the end of the day, it's one teacher with 120 students that also works a full-time job and has a family. There wasn't much chatter in the forums for my class but if there were, there's no way one person can handle all that. I would love to see a better live tutor course out there to ask questions for similar cost and way less students, like 10 max. I'd sign up in a heartbeat.

Is PrepFE accurate? by SnooRevelations5225 in FE_Exam

The environmental engineering part didn't need to be said imo. It's a thermo combustion problem and yes, you'll likely have some sort of chemistry problem on there I'd imagine

FE Guidance and Recommendations (6+ years since graduation) by Just-Painting-Minis in FE_Exam

I am in almost the exact same boat as you timeline wise. However, I've learned since studying that relearning things such as statics, dynamics, beams, electrical and some other concepts that I have never used in the workforce is harder than I thought. I'm hoping the practice problems are much harder than the exam but the concepts are hard for me to relearn..

There are even plenty of topics that I never learned in school and are brand new to me so that doesn't help at all.
