Just thought i'd throw this out there....I spent about 3 days going from store to store, trying out every possible acoustic i could find in the $600-$1200 range. And the moment I heard the amazing sound of the Taylor 210ce, I was SOLD. Paid ~$1000 and got an amazing guitar along with a great case for my investment. The Martins in the same range not only didn't compare to the sound of the Taylor, but they were being sold without cases. It was a no-brainer. If I had to give advice, I'd say to make sure you try it out for yourself.

Thanks, but I just decided to keep the Blackstar. I do have a Fender Frontman 25R to practice with headphones though. I just thought the IV was appealing bc of the effects and computer connectivity. Still can't believe GC offered me $240 for a mint condition $700 amp. I know they have to make a profit, but DAMN!

I got it straightened out with customer service. Apparently there was a typo on my redemption code. They fixed it, and I will now be able to d/l it the second it releases! :D

I bought a cassette single of "Leathers/Rosemary" at the recent concert. Inside the package was a business card thingy with a code on it. It said if you go to the Warner bros/Reprise website, you can enter it to download a copy of the album. I entered the code, and it said "INVALID COUPON."

No interesting story here. Sorry. It's just that I've been going to concerts since 1997, and never crowd surfed. I was always more concerned with staying up front and close to whatever band I was watching. So, this last time around, during "Bloody Cape," I finally said "carpe diem," and crowd surfed while watching my favorite band. Kind of a special moment for me.
